Located at the Edgewater Inn on the north shore of Round Lake Harbor and the Pine River Channel, this condo offers prime drawbridge views and a central downtown location. Each condo at the Edgewater Inn is individually owned and uniquely decorated, allowing guests to enjoy a different experience with every stay—or return to a favorite. Fall Stay

The condo we rented was nice, cozy and clean. It is very close to the bridge but close to town. The only suggestion we have for the owner is updating the bed linens...rather old. Cleaning service came everyday to switch out towels and we enjoyed our stay.

Happy With Our Stay

We could not be any happier. The room and it's location in Charlevoix were outstanding. We enjoyed watching the boats go through the channel. We loved watching the bridge go up and down. We loved that we were able to leave the car in the parking lot and walk around Charlevoix.The professional staff were really helpful. They responded quickly and were very helpful in answering our questions. We cannot wait to come back. You will see us again!

It was perfect

We took our mother back up to Charlevoix for a 4 nights. She had been coming up for 40 years and owned a home there for a time period. This unit was just perfect in every way. She loved the seating arrangements that gave her options to relax both in and outdoors.The dinette table worked perfectly for meals and coffee. Also the floors allowed her the ability to get around on her walker in the unit.The view gave her the ability to see almost all of Charlevoix's beauty and busyness from the balcony. The lobby staff and decor was wonderful. Beds were comfortable. Sheets and towels white, clean and fluffy. Cleaning staff was on the ball and on time. In the winter the fireplace would be lovely. We would definitely rent this unit again.I enjoyed the pool and sauna. Edgewater's new exterior paint job looks gorgeous!

Perfect place in Charlevoix

This is our 4th time staying at the Edgewater Inn beautiful location on lake Charlevoix/Round Lake.We love the condo situation and the staff is veryHelpful and friendly. We will go back once or twice a year. Very close to Petoskey and the beachis right across the street. Many restaurants and shops.

Wonderful getaway spot!

So perfect for our family to getaway for a few days! Location is amazing to watch the bridge go up and look at the beautiful water views... we shopped...found great restaurants and walked to the beach a few times..got to a couple breweries and hiked too...you can’t beat the location!! And a great condo ..cozy and clean and comfortable 🙂 staff was so nice and called back right away when we had a couple of questions bc we had to change dates...very nice and helpful. We most definitely will be back to the Edgewater....

Great spot to watch the world go by

What a fun spot to people watch! Being next to the bridge between Lakes Charlevoix and Michigan, you can watch boats all day long, see the Emerald Isle/Beaver Island ferry come and go, and observe the people and cars crossing the bridge. Being located at the edge of downtown affords easy access to stores and restaurants and is an easy walk to the piers and beaches of Lake Michigan. The condo has very comfortable and clean furnishings. The only potential negatives include traffic noise, IF the slider door is open, and some of the kitchen amenities (small freezer, lack of total dish sets), which is not an issue if you eat out all the time.

Beautiful Unit Overlooking the Drawbridge

This 1-bedroom unit was immaculate! The furnishings were lovely, and the view was exceptional. It is a treat to be able to walk into town.

Fantastic location

This condo is in a perfect location to walk into town or just sit on the balcony and watch boats go by. The property is nice sized, and the fireplace came in handy during a couple of cool night's. Hotel staff is only around during the day. I'm assuming this relates to less business due to the pandemic,so they can't afford to have someone around 24/7 - but I might be wrong, as I've never stayed here before. Overall, this was a pleasant experience and I would return if visiting Charlevoix.

Siblings United in Great Location

I am doing a review for my brother, Frank Polzin, because our second condo was for him and his wife and our sister. I already shared my glowing report. Frank said to me after we got back home, “Libby, that was just like a fantasy, being on the water in such a beautiful place. I can’t WAIT to go back!” He is a walker, so he was out and about morning, noon and evenings, delighting in the gorgeous homes and gardens, the marina, the Lake Michigan sunsets, driving to the lavender farm and taking the little ferry, smoked fish, comfortable bed, just EVERYTHING! Our sister used the pool for some low-impact exercise. We just had a great time connecting in our condos and then some independent activities. The weather cooperated, too. All great!

Nice Room, Great Weekend!!!!

We love the location, enjoyed the room. Loved the fireplace as it was a cold weekend. Room was perfect for a relaxing weekend. Other than check-in did not have interaction with staff. At check-in and when making the reservation, staff was helpful and friendly. Hot tub was not working. Wish the restaurant would reopen.
